Live run information – August 2016

So, that was August then..! We even had some sunshine…
53 jobs completed – an increase of 25% over last month and taking our total to 135 runs for the NHS.

.

We had two new riders breaking their duck this month – Jurgen H and Martin G, but they were – once again – just part of a much larger team working behind the scenes. Our thanks go to every one of our volunteers for helping us achieve this.

.

Call time to collection was an impressive 32 minutes on average during our ‘standard’ working hours, and a respectable 42 minutes when we include our non-standard hours.

.

Cost savings are in the region of £1,100 this month – taking our total saving for the NHS up to around £3,440 (these are estimated only).

.

Highbury Hospital remains our most popular pick-up location with 33 jobs in the month, but City & QMC are coming along nicely and accounted for 15 of the total.

.

We’ve also been out and about a fair amount raising funds, so a big thank you to our willing volunteers for putting in the extra effort and to the generous people who have contributed to the collection tubs along the way.

.

If you’d like to know more about our service, are thinking about volunteering for us as a rider or controller, or just have general queries about the charity – please use the “CONTACT US” page to get in touch.

.

You don’t need to have any previous experience for any of our roles as full training will be provided – we can even offer reduced rates for motorcyclists who require an advanced qualification. Just ask us for more information – there is no obligation, honest!

.
